[?] Peritel RGB interface ★

Description

CGCT Industries Péritel (SCART) RGB Video Adapter for ZX Spectrum (1984). This is a rare, vintage active video interface manufactured in France for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum (16K/48K models). It connects directly to the computer's rear edge connector, tapping into the internal video signals to convert them into a crisp, high-quality RGB and composite sync signal. This allowed users to bypass the noisy RF antenna modulator and display a pixel-perfect, interference-free color image on European televisions via a standard Péritel / SCART cable. The label includes a critical warning in French: "ne pas brancher ou débrancher sous tension" (do not plug or unplug while powered on) to protect the computer's fragile logic chips from voltage spikes.
